Lucky thing you have a good memory: I've greatly enjoyed your tales of Hollywood when it was still a bit dangerous and thrilling. Sort of reminds me of my wild nights in Chicago during my youth :-)Dylan Mitchellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04759482060384749407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-624869377885522031.post-46974561781268727012016-02-24T13:57:59.319-08:002016-02-24T13:57:59.319-08:00You're right about moving costing a small fort...You're right about moving costing a small fortune. I couldn't afford the insurance, and the movers "lost" a lot of my most cherished possessions - including all of my diaries and journals. The issue still hasn't been resolved. I'll never trust another mover - - but it's too late....Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02619128793632680659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-624869377885522031.post-10430321099388012582016-02-24T06:44:30.681-08:002016-02-24T06:44:30.681-08:00That's awful about the "lost" books,...That's awful about the "lost" books, Jon. I remember how upset I was when my first edition of Robert Mapplethorpe's The Perfect Moment went missing after I moved to Oregon. And to add insult to injury - it cost me a small fortune to leave Chicago (my hometown). Moving sucks big time.Dylan Mitchellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04759482060384749407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-624869377885522031.post-9529918205625120012016-02-23T08:43:49.368-08:002016-02-23T08:43:49.368-08:00I love glass bottles and had no idea that they are...I love glass bottles and had no idea that they are being sold again. I haven't seen any around my neck of the woods - but perhaps they are only appearing in bigger cities.

I have accumulated a lot of things but I don't collect anything in particular. I do like antique books and had some interesting ones - which the movers "lost" when I moved to Tennessee.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02619128793632680659noreply@blogger.com
