She reminds me of my Uncle's pet chicken, Sam. (Short for Salmonella, because he was such a spoiled chicken!)
I just learned that Carmelita was nearly eaten alive by a sinister raccoon! Luckily, she was saved at the last second, and seems to be on the mend. But it was a very close call. Carmelita is more like a cat than a chicken in more ways than one!P.S. Sam is a great name for a pet chicken :-)
