Dylan, Jon and I are so happy you're back. Jon even mentioned it in a comment at my place. Now, I know of NO ONE who gets praised in the comment section of another blogger. You DO have friends, and mighty good ones, in Jon and me.
Thanks, Dana. I know you and Jon are good friends. It's just that I have a love/hate relationship with the internet. When my other computer crashed on me, I suddenly began reading actual books again. And I loved it! Now I'm trying to get a bit more balance in my life.
The first month without a working computer was the hardest for me, especially since using the computers at the library was like spending time in hell.
I gave up after a homeless girl sitting next to me proceeded to give herself a sponge bath (I kid you not). Plus the time limit (15 minutes) was too little for comfort. It takes me THAT long just to leave a comment on a post. I have OCD to thank for that.
By the second month I started telling myself I lived without a computer for most of my life (didn't even know how to use one until I was 36). And I lived to tell the tale. So it was back to reading books for me...
Happy Halloween, Dylan!
ReplyDeleteIt just wouldn't be Pumpkin Day without the Munsters.
Happy Pumpkin Day, Jon! I plan on visiting the Munsters on Halloween (thanks to YouTube).
DeleteThat's a good idea. I couldn't exist without YouTube - it's my main source of entertainment.
DeleteIt's great to have you back, Dylan.
The stuff I find on YouTube astounds me. Thanks for such a warm welcome, Jon.
